This printer has all the standard features that a printer of this type will need, Scanner, Printer, Colour Copy, mono copy, etc. It is has also a slight improvement on the speed of the DX4000 that appears to be its predecessor.

HP Vs Kodak printing cost comparison
Tuesday, 31 July 2007

A guy at Computerworld has done a detailed comparison of the price of using a HP printer when compared to the use of a new Kodak Easyshare printer.

Essentially Kodak are trying to bully themselves onto the market by abandoning the "sell printers cheap, sell consumables expensive" idea that every other major brand has used for the past 20 years. Anyway have a look at the article below and it shows the idea quite well.

BD association to offer 5 free titles with Blu-ray players & PS3's
Monday, 02 July 2007

It appears that the Blu-Ray Disc association is taking HD-DVD very seriously, and now is giving away 5 free movies with each sale of PS3 or Blu-Ray player.

They aren't eactly the biggest or best movies ever, but it is a nice incentive.

Monday, 02 July 2007

Total HD is the interesting idea of putting a Blu-Ray and HD-DVD disc back to back on one disc.

This idea should hit the shelves around early 2008, but I severly doubt this will come to anything.

There is always the possibilty, and it is a nice idea, but I doubt it will find enough backers to make it successful. I still hold that Blu-Ray will be the dominant force simply because it has a cooler name.

HD-DVD : the Fight Back
Monday, 02 July 2007

It appears that the HD-DVD are fed up of getting kicked around by the Blu-Ray crowd and have decided that what they need to do is have more features.

I'm not overly impressed with features like :

The ability to vote in polls online after you've watched the film

Swap the scenes around to 'make' your own movie

But we'll just have to see
